A Special Mom

Mom loved us from our first breath, held our hands through the years, guided us along the paths that our lives took, taught us that there is nothing we can't make it through to hold our faith and follow our hearts. She gave us her all and asked nothing in return.

She gave us all the stepping stones in life to become the people we are today, and through it all she stood proud of us all. Her family (husband, children, daughter and sister) meant everything in the world to her.

It will be hard on us to let her go physically, but we carry her with us each and everyday in our hearts and our thoughts. The sun rising will remind us of the warmth of her love. Flowers blooming will remind us of her love for life. Our trials and tribulations will remind us of how strong willed she was. There's a part of her in each and every person that hears or reads this and we can all be so honored that she was a part of our lives.

We will always love you mom, wife, daughter and sister. We will carry you with us each day in our hearts. We will mourn our loss but rejoice that you are in a better place sitting with your mother and loved ones, awaiting our arrival one day.

Letter From Heaven

I Wanted you to know….

I was sitting here in heaven
And having a wonderful day.
I started thinking about you
And all the things I didn’t get a chance to Say.
I don’t want you to worry about me
And please don’t shed any tears,
Because I will wait for you in Heaven,
If it takes a hundred years.
Everything I had on Earth
I have in heaven too!
My first day here
My body became Brand New.
It is really pretty here
And I love my new home,
Although your heart is broken
Because my body is Gone.
My love will always be there
As you go along the way,
Just take a peek inside your heart
There is where I’ll stay.
Know that I loved my Family
And all my friends too,
My thoughts will be with each of You
Your whole life through.

FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach
with the Lord.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.

For each scene,
he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand.
One belonged to him, and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.

He noticed
that many times along the path of his life,
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened
at the very lowest
and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him
and he questioned the Lord about it.:

"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during
the most troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you the most
you would leave me."

oooO

The Lord replied,
"My precious, precious child,
I love you and would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then I carried you."

Jenni's step nephew Matthew Gramlich, passed away at a young age of 18, on December 18, 2005.  They both had the greatest love for animals, family and friends. They are together in heaven with Mom Ayers.
Please help us keep Matt's memory alive.
